A safe harbour.

Life doesn't make any sense without interdependence. We need each other, and the sooner we learn that, the better for us all.”

FAQs

I don't have a GP referral and I'm not on the NDIS, can I still get an appointment?

Yes you can. Getting started is simple. Reach out through our contact form — we can walk you through the next steps and answer any questions along the way.

I want to get the Medicare rebate for sessions, what do I do?

Speak to your GP who will discuss the Better Access Mental Health Care Plan initiative with you. They then supply their signed letter to us which must show the number of sessions they have referred you for (usually 6 sessions - Medicare rebates are offered for up to 10 sessions per calendar year).

I am an injured worker - what do I need to do to speak to a Psychologist?

Your insurer or case manager usually provide approval for psychological treatment before appointments begin. They may refer you directly to us. In most cases, you will also need a referral from your GP or treating doctor. If you are unsure whether treatment has been approved, you can check with your insurer or case manager.
